Award winning Images of the Great Northwest - and beyond...

Born and raised in rural Connecticut, I have traveled through or spent time in all but two of the contiguous United States. I am drawn to the Mountain West for the clear mountain air and the clear sparkling waters, the wildlife, and the depth of seasons. I have lived through hurricanes in the East and had close calls with tornadoes in the South. From growing up with the gorgeous autumn colors of the Berkshire Mountains of west central Connecticut to the Granite peaks of the Rockies, Sierras and the Selkirks in the west with bright green Aspens in the spring and rich golds in Autumn, I have seen the beauty of the mountains and physically touched some of the oldest trees in the world. I have been in the Mountains from Colorado to California and Washington to Montana, and have stood atop one of the two Cascade Volcanos that exploded in the 20th century. I have seen the reds and browns of the desert Southwest in Nevada and Arizona. I have seen the rolling greens of the tall-grass prairies and miles of corn in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. I have seen Devil's Tower and Devil's Post-pile and I have stood atop Angels Rest. I have seen great beauty everywhere in this land and I'm not through yet!
